“Kathleen”

I don’t know where you’ve been, but you have a healing grin,                                                   and i know that it’s not a sin,and i would never want to offend?                                                    The healing in your face makes my spirit “glow”,                                                                            so much in your emerald eyes i can’t begin to know,                                                                  Now don’t you blush when i throw you these crumbs,                                                        because, the fact is you will earn your sweet plums?                                                                           Your scottish sound is part of your deal,                                                                                        and when your mouth moves it makes me feel,                                                                                 I took a chance in this poem and could never be mean,                                                               To the most wonderful creature,  “THE BEAUTY NAMED KATHLEEN!”                           …….a poem by,…Will Jacobs….
